A native Nevadan, Lance Q. Bruntz, DMD, MSD was born in Yerington and raised in Carson City where he graduated from Carson High School. Dr. Bruntz earned his Bachelors degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating with distinction. He received his Doctorate with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Bruntz was granted the award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex by the American Association of Orthodontics in 2001. Additionally, he was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. Upon completion of his dental degree, he attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio to complete his residency in Orthodontics and was granted his Masters degree in dentistry. Dr. Bruntz is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and Sierra Society of Dental Excellence. Dr. Bruntz and his wife Tracy have a son and live in Sparks, Nevada.
